In honor of Super Tuesday, I figured this would be a good time to tally up the votes of our own historic poll.

If you remember back in our Thailand wrap-up post, we created a poll to decide who (me or Danielle) looks better in elephant pants. Well, the people have spoken and the people would rather see Danielle walking around in elephant pants.

Initially, the poll only had two options – Danielle or me. After two days, I read the writing on the wall and realized the Danielle was running away with it, so I added an ‘Other’ option to give the ‘I feel bad voting against one of them’ (see: me) delegation an outlet. Didn’t help. Danielle won in a landslide.

Who wore it better?

• Danielle – 67%
• Sam – 19% (shout out to my family)
• Other – 14%

Sam’s response

Despite the enormous blow to my self-confidence (the crying stopped by day three), I will come out of this a stronger elephant pants candidate. I owe it to my supporters. To the voter who said “Tie: the pants bring out sam’s eyes but he cant pull off capris” I will make it my mission to figure out how to ‘pull off’ capris (is it my ankles? I think it’s my ankles) to earn your vote!

Danielle’s response

I just want to thank everyone that has supported me from the beginning. I will be bringing the elephant pants trend back to the USA where I will consume Chipotle every day for the first month upon my return, and no one will be able to tell the difference thanks to the one-size-fits-all property of the pants.
